One of the world’s premier luxury trains, Palace on Wheels was started in 1982. The train is a collection of authentic railway coaches that were the personal carriages of Maharajas, Nizams & Viceroys.

The train consists of 14 luxurious cabins, named after former Rajput states and designed to accommodate 82 travelers. The lavish interiors complement modern amenities.

The train departs from Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM. Guests are welcomed with music and flowers before being escorted to their cabins.
